What You Should have Watched Last Night:
Monday Night 12-14-15
Man, last night's SuperGirl was another shocker. Cat figured out that Kara is SuperGirl and this opens up a whole slew of new story-lines when the show returns from Winter break. I know a lot of people hate when the Super hero's identity is known by people, but I for one love it.
For years I wanted Clark to stop being a dummy and just tell Lana that he had powers, but he kept her in the dark to "protect her". I hated that. With the Flash and Green Arrow, they have a nucleus of people they trust, who know their identity. I like that. And SuperGirl has that as well with Alex, "Hank", Jimmy, Winn, and now Cat.
Can't wait for the show to return, as last night's episode was one you should make sure you watch.
Episode Rating: Great
Season 6 of the the show where it all began, Love and Hip Hop, premiered last night on VH1. Those who know me know that I am a reality TV junkie, and this is one of my favorite times of year. When regular shows go on break, Networks bring out the reality shows to fill the time slots, and ain't none better than Love and Hip Hop. Its hilarious.
A lot of changes seem to happen every season to the New York cast, and long gone are the days when Jim Jones and Chrissy were running the show. I always disliked Chrissy, so i ain't mad. Mendeces is facing serious jail time, and as we know from current events he's been sentenced for a lengthy bid. We will see how Yandy reacts and holds up on the show, which is kind of strange, but that is life. I always have liked Yandy and Mendeces earned my respect when he choked that dude out on the exercise equipment a few seasons back. Lol. So its kind of rough seeing thema nd their children having to go through this.
My man Richy D, Rich Dollarz is back! This guy is hilarious and is a large part of why I watch the show. He's hilarious. Erica Mena is gone, but if your up on current events, she done fell right on her face! Talked all that shit about how she was happy and rising with her man, Bow Wow, and the rest of them were pathetic. But the dummy got dumped, and now she looking stupid. LOL. I love karma.
I hate Peter Gunz with a passion. Simply pathetic, and I refuse to discuss him at this time. But this season is looking like it should be good. I like the addition of Remy Ma, as she adds a new element to the show. Should be fun.
Episode Rating: Very Good
Last night's Scorpion Winter finale was so well done. I really liked the fact that they didn't just move on from Megan's death after a few weeks and act like everyone is healed and moving on with their lives. When you lose someone close, sometimes weeks after the lost, and the shock wears off, a deep hurt and depression can set in some people. Long after the funeral and all the people stop calling, the lost is felt like it just happend.
That is what Walter experienced throughout this episode. He has been talking to himself but really he has been trying to talk to his sister. It was very well done. Then his breakdown at the end, which is completely uncharacteristic of Walter, was also well done.
On a lighthearted note, I think my favorite scene of the whole series happened last night when Cabe, Toby, and Happy inhaled the helium and sang "Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer". That alone made this episode EXCELLENT!!!
Episode Rating: EXCELLENT
Last night's episode of Fargo was pretty much a wrap up of the season. Nothing major really happened, aside from Ed dying. Everything of note happened last week. Since we know that Lou's wife does die, since we learned that last season, its pretty much a swan song for her in many of the scenes.
Mike Milligan got an office job as a reward for killing all those people and winning the "war"? I was so confused by that one and so was he. He thought he was going to be the king. Lol. Everything else was just wrapped up pretty much. Not much to say really. Great season, pointless finale.
