What You Should have Watched Last Night:
Thursday Night 10-22-15
Last night's viewing was all about ABC's Thursday night lineup.
Honestly, It's hard to think of a better performance by Meredith than on last night's Grey's Anatomy. The whole episode was just excellent in my opinion. The build up to the reveal that Arizona's girlfriend was the doctor who was responsible for Derrick's death was amazing. Most uncomfortable dinner party ever!!
Give Shonda credit, as the evolution of the Meredith Grey character is one that will blow your mind of you go back and watch season 1. She actually is transforming into her mother!! Great stuff.
Episode Rating: Excellent.
Last night's episode of Scandal was easily the best of the season. Phenomenal performances by Olivia and Cyrus were the highlights and they were absolutely great. Olivia's speech about wishing she had never met Fitz was well done and well thought out. I thought she was very believable, as even her biggest detractors, me, understood the situation a little better.
As for Cyrus, sensational. His speech in the Oval was the the best moment of the season to me. He has to be considered for some type of best supporting actor role, as he has been great all season.
Episode Rating: Great
I don't know how the hell they pull this stuff off on How to Get Away with Murder, but they are great at doing it. Last nights episode was another example of not knowing where something is going but still being entertained with the outcome. Annalise continues to show her vulnerable side, which is good and it lets the viewers know she is human and actually feels the wrong that is happening around her.
I'm still in the dark when it comes to what the hell is coming next, but at least I'm enjoying it now.
Episode rating: Really Good
