What You Should have Watched Last Night:
Thursday Night 11-5-15
TGIT was back with all three shows last night. Check out my thoughts below.
Last night on Grey's Anatomy, Merideth took another step into becoming her mother. She was mean, she was rude, and kind of going nuts. I get it, the girl messed up and Derrick died, but it was am accident. All doctors should understand how smal mistake can happen. Meredith has made mistakes that cost people their life too. But the emotion was great.
April and Jackson's story line is great this season. I really am enjoying the fact that they just didn't rush them back together, but instead are building it up. Also I'm happy they finally are touching on the the whole Richard and Pierce father daughter relationship that has largely been ignored and glossed over lately. I hope they continue to build that bond.
Episode Rating: Very Good
I watched Scandal last night, and my only takeaway was how much I dislike Olivia Pope. I really dislike this woman. So that makes Shonda that more brilliant. All great characters in the history of TV have to have brought out some type of emotion from the viewer. Some type of reaction where it made you feel strongly one way or another. I really don't like Olivia Pope.
The problem I have with her is I see through her, and I have for awhile. Last night's episode was the first time Cyrus was able to see what I have seen. She isn't just in love with the Fitz, she loves his power and his influence, and she wants it for herself. This woman is no victim. She is a manipulator, and is always looking out for number 1, no matter who she hurts in the process. Great character.
Episode Rating: Great
Last night's HTGAWM was alot more focused and because of it it was much better episode to enjoy. We are only an episode away from finding out who shot Annalise and how all the crazy stuff unfolded. I'm still confused, but I will wait until next week.
As for the episode, it seems like so many people have reason to want Annalise dead. Bonnie absolutely snapped and basically threatened her. Then we saw her in the current day scene standing over top the ledge as the states attorney lawyer fell to her death. Enough on this, cause I'm confusing myself now. I hope next week clears everything up and it makes sense cause I'm so tired of not knowing what the hell I'm watching.
